About Us

Patrick L. Kerwin, MBA, NCCC

Patrick Kerwin is principal of Kerwin&Associates in San Diego and Los Angeles, California, where he assists individuals and organizations in issues of career and workplace development. A Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Certified Professional, Patrick works with corporate, educational, and non-profit organizations on team-building and communication strategies using the MBTI®, and is one of 19 MBTI® Qualifying Program trainers for the Association for Psychological Type. In addition, Patrick is one of four faculty members for the Strong Interest Inventory® Qualifying Program. He is the author of the Kerwin Values Survey® career values inventory, and conducts workshops on career values to help employees and organizations create meaning and congruence in the workplace.

A National Certified Counselor and National Certified Career Counselor, Patrick is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego, where he teaches graduate counseling courses for the Masters of Counseling program. From 1991 to 2003, he was an adjunct faculty member teaching “Career Planning” and a part-time counselor at Santa Monica College. He brings"real world"knowledge to his career counseling and consulting approach from over six years finance and management experience with Fortune 500 corporations and small business organizations.

Patrick is the current President of SANDAPT, the San Diego chapter of the Association for Psychological Type. A former President of the California Career Development Association, Patrick holds his MBA and Career Counseling Specialist Graduate Certificate from California State University, Long Beach.
